To guarantee long-term digital preservation, IJSET applies a distributed archiving system through the following services:

1) LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

IJSET supports archiving through LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) to create a secure, distributed, and decentralized preservation network among participating libraries. This ensures that journal content remains accessible and preserved even in the event of technical failures or service interruptions.

2) PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

IJSET participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a free preservation service for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). PKP PN provides automatic preservation of journal content by depositing and maintaining copies across a distributed network, ensuring continued access and integrity over time.

3) Availability of Archived Content

In the event that IJSET content is no longer available on the journal website, archived content may be restored or made accessible through the above preservation networks, consistent with journal policies and applicable regulations.

4) Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Any corrections, retractions, or updates to published articles will be handled transparently. Archived versions remain part of the scholarly record, and any changes will be clearly documented and linked to the original publication.
