Abstract
This review systematically investigates the multidimensional construct of workplace well-being and its direct and indirect influences on employee job satisfaction and job performance. Synthesizing 16 empirical, longitudinal, and meta-analytic studies published between 2021 and 2026, this study constructs a holistic analytical framework linking psychological, physical, social, and work-life balance dimensions to organizational outcomes. The review highlights that psychological well-being (β = .42, p < .001) and work-life digital balance (β = .35, p < .001) serve as primary drivers of job satisfaction, which subsequently mediates in-role task performance (β = .48, p < .001) and extra-role organizational citizenship behavior (β = .39, p < .001). Furthermore, leadership support and organizational climate act as pivotal moderators that buffer against digital overload and burnout. A multi-level structural alignment model is proposed to guide strategic HR interventions, providing actionable insights for sustainable performance management.
